We have had a great fall and maybe we will be lucky and not have to have any late starts, early outs, or cancellations the rest of the winter. If weather does become an issue, once again this winter I will post notifications on local radio stations KAYL/KKIA, on KTIV Channel 4, and on Iowa Alerts. Information on how to sign-up for Iowa Alerts is included on the homepage of the school district’s website or you can contact the Central Office for this information. In addition, we will be using the school district’s website, Facebook page and Twitter account (StormLakeCSD) to post announcements.
I will do my very best to have a decision made by 6:15 a.m. If I decide to have school and you disagree with my decision please call the school your child attends, tell them you disagree with my decision and it will be an excused absence.
I want to thank all the parents, students, community members, teachers and staff for a great first half of the school year. If you have ideas on how we can improve the education that we offer to our students please do not hesitate to call me (732-8060), email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or stop in at 419 Lake Avenue.
