Storm Lake Spanish Language Arts 2 had two students, Carla Ruiz and Yoseline Padilla, that were recognized with a Certificate of Excellence in a National Contest for Internet Safety Posters.  

Other students were honored for their performance on the National Spanish Exam. Two students, Grant Kofmehl and Carlos Soto qualified and will receive medals from the state level competition. Other awards went to Gabrielle Lewis, Yoseline Padilla, Eduardo Arreola, Jose Maldonado, Yesica Medina, Juan Rios, Carla Ruiz and Jonathan Negrete.
