FEBRUARY 3, 2020

There will be a drivers ed meeting Feb 11th at 6pm at the Middle School. This is for anyone interested in taking drivers ed in the Spring or the Summer. You will need an instructional permit before you will be considered for the class.

 

Football Cheer Tryouts Practice will be on Monday March 2 starting at 3:30. Tryouts will on Tuesday March 3 starting at 5:45. Sign up on Ms. Davis' (Room 31) Door and see the other information you need to know for Tryouts.

 

The next GSA meeting will be Tuesday, February 4th during homeroom in room 81.

 

There will be a meeting for all students interested in being a member of the Storm Lake Trap Shooting Club on Tuesday February 4 @ 6:30 PM in the HS commons. Please bring a parent to the meeting with you to complete required paperwork. If parents are unable to attend other arrangements may be made the night of the meeting.

 

There will be a boy's track and field meeting during homeroom on Tuesday, February 4, in the auxiliary gym.  All boys interested in going out for track and field this Spring need to attend. 

 

Attention!! We are no longer allowing students to order lunch for delivery from outside the building. If you order and they deliver it, we will send them back.

 

11th and 12th grade students: This week Admin and SSD will be going through everyone's schedules to see if they qualify for open campus. We are looking at 1) Passing all classes 2) Having missed less than 8 class periods in any class 3) No level 2 referrals

 

All students must sign in for study hall. If you are supposed to be in room 65 for study hall but remain in the student center you will be counted absent.

 

You are invited! Make plans to watch each of the state speech performances at the Speakers Showcase TONIGHT at 7 p.m. in the auditorium! From musical theatre to ensemble acting, short film and more! A superb night of entertainment!  $5 admission.  We hope to see you there!

 

Speaking of speech...Individual speech is right around the corner and we are getting a jump start! Love to write and read poetry? how about acting, musical theatre or improv? If you didn't sign up last fall, stop in room 66 any day this week to pick up more information.

There will be an Art Club Meeting Thursday after school.
